On my bank account in quick books I have the transaction that i did but it does not show the balance after I record the charge. It shows n/a what does that mean

Good to see you here in QuickBooks Community. I'm here to help and guide you on how to show the balance amount on your bank account.

 

There's a possibility that you sorted the deposit drop-down arrow that's why the balance is showing as n/a. You'll need to sort the date on your bank register to show the total balance amount. 

 

To do this, please follow the detailed steps below: 

  1. On the left tab, click Banking
  2. Select Go to Register.
  3. Click the Date drop-down arrow to sort the transaction.

Here's how to contact our phone support: 

  1. Go to: Get help with QuickBooks Online.
  2. Click the contact us link.
  3. Click the Search for something else tab, and type-in Customer Support.
  4. Scroll-down, and click the Get Phone Number.
