Online Banking to QuickBooks

The bank required that I discontinue using my Customer ID for login and select a new one. I was unable to set up the bank feed with the new ID. So I went through the process of removing the bank feed by going to the Chart of Accounts and disabling the bank feed. I then went back and attempted to set up a new bank feed with the new Customer ID. I get the following message:

"You have used a different Customer ID to set up another QuickBooks account for online services with this financial institution.

QuickBooks does not support the use of multiple Customer IDs for setting up multiple accounts with the same financial institution.

The Customer ID you used previously is go******er. Please use this customer ID to set up accounts with this financial institution."

How do I get QuickBooks to "forget" the old Customer ID?

Thanks!

Online Banking to QuickBooks

Hey there, @EdNewton

I hope you're having a great evening.

Since you stated that you've successfully disconnected the bank feeds, may I ask a few more clarifying questions? Once you disconnected the feed, did you log out of QuickBooks and log back in, then reconnected it? Are you the only user being affected by this?

If you did log out and back in, I recommend resetting the Intuit ID Settings. Below I've included the steps to do this.

1. Open the Help menu at the top.

2. Click Reset Intuit ID Settings.

3. Type Yes in the box and click OK

4. Log out of the company file and log back in and try to disconnect and reconnect the feed once more.
