Quickbooks is junk

For over 2 months Quickbooks online will not connect to PNC after almost 15 years of using this product. Customer Service is garbage. I've called in 15 times and they make me repeat my issue EVERY TIME!?!?! Then they tell me engineers are working on it and will let me know when it's fixed. Over 2 months and nothing. The product does not do what I pay for it to do! They are so incompetent, they cannot fix their problems and don't care about their customers. Complete trash of a system!!! What a mess! Don't use this product, they cannot make it work right and don't care about their customers!!!

Why don't you switch to another app to replace QB?

Quickbooks is junk

Because I am coming to the end of my career and I shouldn't have to switch my entire system after being a loyal customer for over 15 years.  They should fix their problem and be a quality program.  Wouldn't they want to fix their issue instead of lose customers?

Quickbooks is junk

I recognize how crucial it is to connect your PNC account for accurate bank data, wolfys.

It can be challenging that despite your efforts and multiple interactions with our customer service, you're still unable to link your account to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Let me make it up to you by providing an alternative way to add your transactions to the program.

We've received similar cases or reports about the PNC connectivity issue, and you've already been added as one of the affected users. Rest assured that you'll be notified once this is resolved.

In the meantime, I recommend manually uploading your PNC data into QBO. I'll show you how.

First, select a start date to avoid duplicates:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and then choose Chart of accounts.
  2. Find the PNC account. Then, select View register.
  3. Find the oldest transaction, then write down the date. Usually, the oldest transaction is the opening balance.

Then, get the transactions from your bank. You need to download CSV files of your transactions:

  1. Sign in to your bank or credit card's website.
  2. Follow your bank's instructions to download CSV files.
  3. Check the date range for the download. It should be at least one day before the date of your oldest transaction.
  4. Download your transactions. Keep the file somewhere you can easily find it.

Once done, we can manually upload the file. Beforehand, make sure it's in the correct format to prevent errors.

You can follow these steps to upload the transactions:

  1. From Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Select the account you want to upload the transactions into.
  3. Select the Link account drop-down menu, then click Upload from file.
  4. Choose Drag and drop or select files and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, Continue.
  5. In the QuickBooks account drop-down menu, click the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then, Continue.
  6. If you don't see an account, hit Add New to add a new one.
  7. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then Continue.
  8. Choose the transactions you want to import. Then Continue.
  9. Hit Yes, then Done.

For more details, please see this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Finally, it's time to match and categorize everything. The transactions go into the correct accounts after you review them. Then, reconcile them to ensure all the entries are tracked correctly in QuickBooks.

Please keep me posted anytime if you require further assistance with online banking in QuickBooks Online. It's my priority to ensure that you achieve your desired outcomes with bookkeeping. Take care and stay safe!

Quickbooks is junk

I've been doing this for over 2 months. This is not a solution, it is a work around to a problem that you are unable to fix.
