A couple of days ago I noticed that my checking account balance is still updating, but the associated transactions aren't downloading to quickbooks. How can I fix this?

There are no connection errors showing, the transactions are not showing up in For Review, Categorized, or Excluded tabs. I am almost certain that it is not a matter of me finding them, they simply are not being downloaded from my bank connection to quickbooks.

A couple of days ago I noticed that my checking account balance is still updating, but the associated transactions aren't downloading to quickbooks. How can I fix this?

It's great to see you back in the Community forum, Kris. I'll further help you bring those transactions back into QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Manually updating your bank account in QBO helps refresh the connection between your bank and QuickBooks. You can refresh the connection to get the latest available transactions.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to Transactions and select Bank transactions.
  3. Select Update.
  4. If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials and select Continue update.

If the issue persists after performing this step, I suggest contacting our support team again. They have the tools needed to review your bank account and further investigate the cause of the issue.

 

In the meantime, you can manually upload transactions if you want to enter old transactions, can't find your bank, or can't connect it to QuickBooks.
