Does this mean it was not downloaded from the bank so it is only in the QB register that we create??

Allow me to step in for a moment and provide some additional information about adding transactions from the Banking menu in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
The transactions that you'll see under For Review tab on the Banking screen are all downloaded from your bank. If these transactions don't exist in your Register, you can add them by clicking Add under ACTION column.
On the other hand, if these transactions show in your Register, this means they're manually created. You can match them by selecting Match under ACTION columns as well. You may check out this article for more information about adding and matching downloaded transactions in QBO: How to add and match downloaded banking transactions.
That should answer your concern for today. If you have any follow-up questions, don't hesitate to leave a comment below. I'll be here to help. Have a good one!
I manually entered a transaction and then later matched it with the same one as I downloaded it and linked my banking/credit. Now the transaction (a bank transfer to credit card) shows up twice when I am reconciling my account. If I ignore the transaction duplicate, will it affect my overall tracking? If I ignore it, my account reconciles.
Hello GSuspense,
Matched bank transactions from the Banking page should not show as duplicates when reconciling. They are automatically checked as reconciled instead. Let's undo and match them again to show the transactions correctly in the register.
Go back to the Banking page and click on In QuickBooks tab. Check the boxes of the transactions and click on Undo. In the For Review tab, click on the Match link (not Add). Then, reconcile the account again.

I have entries that are showing "match" but I never added them manually?

Let me help provide clarification about the downloaded transactions from your bank.
QuickBooks Online uses the amount and the transaction date when matching. It considers it a match if the amount is the same and it's within 90 days of the transaction date. Other than the amount and transaction date, it also follows the types of transactions like bank deposits, journal entries, expenses, checks, and others.
If you have duplicate bank transactions, you can always exclude it from the transactions downloaded from your bank. You can check out this article for details: How to exclude expenses from downloaded bank transactions.
As always, you can visit our site in case you'll need some helpful references in the future: Help articles for QuickBooks Online.
Keep me posted if you have other questions about your matched transactions. I'm here to help.
I have a question. So initially I added a deposit manually and split it accordingly (basically I go to +, bank deposit, and then fill it in). When I go to the bank and have them deposit it, it shows up in different numbers, for example, a transaction in the QB online deposit the total is 2500 but it's divided between separate categories, and the bank feed shows it up as 1200, 400, and 900. And so it doesn't match instead it wants me to add it. Can I just ignore it because I've already manually deposited it in (the +. bank deposit) or do I have to add it?

You can match your downloaded bank transactions to your existing transactions from your register. I'm here to share a few insights and help you from there.
To start with, adding a downloaded transaction means you don't have any record of it on your bank register. While matching a downloaded transaction means matching it to your existing records.
Thus, matching your downloaded transactions avoids duplicate entries. To match them:
Additionally, here's an article you can read to learn more about matching your downloaded transactions: Assign, Categorize, Edit, and Add your Downloaded Banking Transactions.
Lastly, I've also added this article that'll help you handle your bank transactions after matching them: Find, Review, and Edit Transactions in your Account Register.
