Bank accounts not updating

We can manually update your connected bank account, txplink.

The bank may have maintenance that's why it's unable to connect and download recent transactions. We can manually update the bank to refresh the connection. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Transactions or Banking menu and select Banking.
  2. Click the bank tile.
  3. At the upper-right, click Update.

If you're still unable to get the updated transactions, I'd suggest visiting the bank's website and look into notifications, updates, and alerts that might be causing the connection. You can click this link for more details on what to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Meantime, you can manually import your bank transactions by exporting them from your bank's website and save them in a.QBO, .CSV, or.QFX file format. Then, import them into QuickBooks.

Keep me posted if there's anything else that you need help with. Take care!

Bank accounts not updating

I'm here to help you with your desktop version issue, Lila1234. I can see that this must be challenging for you. Let's work together to resolve this.

Could you please share the name of your banking institution? This helps me check for any open investigations and offers a better solution to this problem.

In the meantime, let's perform troubleshooting steps to solve this. Ensure you have the latest version of the desktop software installed, as updates might include compatibility fixes for changes made by banks, and guarantees you have the most recent features.

I'll show you how:

  1. Close your company files and QuickBooks program.
  2. Open the Window Start menu.
  3. Search for QuickBooks Desktop, then right-click the icon and select Run as administrator.
  4. While on the No Company Open screen, go to the Help menu and click Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  5. Choose the Options tab, select Mark All, and then Save.
  6. Go to the Update Now tab, then checkmark the Reset Update checkbox.
  7. When you're ready, hit Get updates.

I recommend closing and then reopening QuickBooks Desktop to ensure the update is properly installed. When prompted, please select “Yes”. After the installation is completed, restart your computer to ensure all changes take effect. Once your computer is back on, try reactivating the bank feeds.

If you are still experiencing issues, you can consider re-branding or resetting the QuickBooks bank feeds account as an alternative solution. For further information, please see Solutions 1 through 3 in this article: Re-brand or reset accounts for Bank Feeds access.

Additionally, consider executing the verify and rebuild data utility to confirm that your company file is free from data corruption. Here's a helpful resource for your reference: Fix data damage on your QuickBooks Desktop company file.

I'm glad we could address the problem with downloading your transactions, Lila1234. If you have any questions or need further assistance, add them in the comments. I'm here to lend a hand.
