Join nowI made a deposit on 11.30.19:
Customer A paid by check $400.00
Customer B paid by EFT $700.00
Total Deposit Amount.. $1,100.00
I received each payment separately.
When I recorded the deposit, I recorded them being deposited together. So they show up as one item on quickboks - I need them to show up as separate items.
Since it was the last day of the month, the check from customer A for $400.00 did not show up on the bank statement, just the EFT payment from Customer B
How can I fix this so each deposit shows up separately?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Delete the deposit and re-enter them separately. This will not affect the customer balance although you will get a warning when deleting the deposit.

Thank you! I was concerned that deleting the deposit would cause problems - worked perfectly!
QBsguru is correct, ES4.
You'll have to delete the deposit and then redeposit the payment. Let me guide you with these steps:
To delete the deposit:
Afterward, these transactions will go back to the Make Deposits window.
From there, you can deposit them separately.
On the other hand, since the transaction for customer A didn't show up on the bank statement, it would be best to contact your bank provider. They can verify why the other transaction is not in your bank statement.
If the reason for this is a bounced check, you can browse this article on how to record it: Bounced Check.
