The bank feed from Nedbank stopped working, does anyone else have the same problem or a solution?
I tried updating the link but get error message 155.
Thanks for posting again here. Allow me to assist you on how to import the bank transactions.
Please note that bank error 155 means that your bank isn't allowing QuickBooks Online (QBO) to connect and retrieve your data. QBO has no control over this. You'll need to contact Nedbank to resolve this issue.
For now, you'll want to manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. All you need is a file from your bank that you can upload to QuickBooks Online.
You can also check this article: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. This will discuss how to review and categorize the imported transactions. This also has a link on how to reconcile your accounts.
I'm ready to help you out again if you have more questions about handling accounts in QuickBooks Online. Let me know and I'll get back to this thread and lay down a guide.
i have had this error before, and a technician from quick books became involved to assist the feed with Nedbank, I am sorry, but manually uploading receipts is not why I joined Quick books, I prefer the automation, and its what makes me use the programme, if I have to manually update everything then there really is no need for the programme.
it appears that every +-6-7 months there is a problem with the Nedbank feed? this really is annoying and disruptive to our business processes, the manual way is too long and complicated, I really don't want to go this route, please can you advise when this will be sorted, thank you.
We can't connect to Nedbank Personal & Business Banking right now.
You can try adding an account from another bank. (155)
Utilize the trial version of MT Online to isolate the issue. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed. If the same error persists, there is an ongoing problem at your bank or connection.
Thank you for getting back to the thread, @Michelle346. I'm here to share some details with regards to your concern with Nedbank.
In addition to @Fiat Lux - ASIA, the bank error 155 indicates that QuickBooks is unable to connect to and obtain your data from your financial institution (FI).
Since you receive this error it means that we're working with your FI to resolve this issue. But as of now, the Financial Institution hasn't told us when they'll begin allowing these connections again. To resolve this issue as soon as possible, you'll need to contact Nedbank.
In the mean time, as a work around you can manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
