Good day to you, berberian-ted,
You'll be glad to know you can undo the last credit card reconciliation in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Any changes to your account will affect the balance on your next reconciliation. To minimize the impact, you can only unreconcile one transaction at a time.
And, I'm here to walk you through the process:
- Go to the Accounting menu. Then select Chart of Accounts.
- Find the account and select View register.
- Choose the transaction you want to unreconcile.
- Review the check column. If the transaction is reconciled, you’ll see an “R.”
- Select the box and keep clicking it until the box is blank. This removes the transaction from the reconciliation.
- Click Save.
If you're an QBO Accountant user, you have the tool to easily perform this process. Feel free to read through this link: Undo your client’s reconciliations with QuickBooks Online Accountant for instructions and detailed steps.
