Can Quickbooks online download banking transactions from two different bank accounts?

Hi there, @jbell.

Yes, QuickBooks Online downloads bank transactions from two different accounts or more. Thus, it allows you to connect bank accounts as many as you need. When viewing the downloaded transactions, just

select the account of the information that you want to see. Please see the screenshot attached for reference:

Hello, Molly.

I'd like to help you out in downloading your bank transactions to QuickBooks.

This thread is originally tagged under QuickBooks Online. Just to clarify, are you using an updated version of QuickBooks Desktop? If that's the case, we can set up the Bank Feeds to download your bank transactions into QuickBooks.

Here's how to get started:

  1. Go to the Banking menu, hover on Bank Feeds.
  2. Select Set up Bank Feeds for an account.
  3. In the Enter your Bank's name field, enter and select your bank.

Follow the prompts and continue with the bank feed setup.

I should also elaborate that we'll want to use an updated and supported versions of QuickBooks Desktop (2020 - 2022) for the Bank Feeds feature.

For more details about using the Bank Feeds in QuickBooks Desktop, we'll want to take a look at this article: Set up bank accounts for Bank Feeds in QuickBooks Desktop

However if you do use QuickBooks Online, we'll simply want to enable the Online Bank Feeds feature then connect your bank to download the transactions. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking page.
  2. Click the Connect account button.
  3. Search for the name of your bank, then follow the prompts to connect it.

If you'd like to more about the Bank Feeds for the Online version, we can check out this article: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online

After downloading those transactions to your banking dashboard, we can start categorizing them. If you need some help on adding, categorizing, or matching those record, feel free to use one of these articles as a guide:

Need to reconcile your bank after managing those bank records? We have a guide for both QuickBooks Desktop and the Online version:

Do you have any other questions? Let me know and I'll gladly lay down some guides or important information about the Bank Feeds or any other features in QuickBooks.
