Hello, @v_potenza.
Let's perform some troubleshooting steps so you can get back to working with your bank transactions seamlessly.
Before we start, bank error 185 usually occurs when your financial institution requests more information when entering your credentials. Usually, you'll be prompted to provide a one-time password (OTP) or answer security questions.
In the meantime, try logging in to your QuickBooks Online account using a private window. Use either of these keyboard shortcuts to open an incognito window, depending on your browser:
Alternatively, use another supported, up-to-date browser to narrow down the results.

Hey! It's November 2024 and I am currently having this problem! Everything was working smoothly until this week. Did you ever resolve this?
Yes, Andy. The mentioned investigation above has already been resolved. Since you're still experiencing this issue, we can perform some steps to fix this.
If you received an error or don't see transactions within the Transactions menu, it's best to re-authenticate your connection. This will refresh your connection, allowing the impacted account to resume downloading transactions into QuickBooks.

Have you tried opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser?
Yes, I followed all of the above steps but with no luck! However, I ended up resolving the problem. Basically, my bank updated its platform, so Quickbooks no longer recognized it. After about a week, QB identified that there was a new version of the bank, but I had to manually unlink my old bank platform, and relink the new one. After unlinking, all my bank transactions in QB showed error, but I simply relinked the new bank platform under the same name in QB as the old one and then QB automatically relinked the bank transactions I already categorized and excluded. Ended up being a simple fix, but I had to wait for both QB and my bank to play nice again haha.
