Does anyone know why I am not able to see my bank transactions even though the bank is linked?

New company but my second one through QuickBooks.  I had no issues with the other company connecting. Account is linked.  Bank Transactions page keeps asking to connect account.

Let's bring those bank transactions to QuickBooks Online (QBO), @titan.

You can manually update your bank account in QuickBooks Online to refresh the connection between your bank and QuickBooks so transactions will show up.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Hover your mouse to Transactions, then Bank transactions.
  3. Click on the bank account then, select Update.

If you've updated your bank details in QuickBooks manually but still have the same issue, there may be an interruption in the connection between your bank's website and QuickBooks. Contact your bank to check for any ongoing maintenance causing the interruption.

Thank you for your reply. I have called QuickBooks and the issue is more than I can resolve and their IT team is working on it. I worked through all the actions with QuickBooks and verified banking is linked but just no transactions.

I am having the same issue, it shows that my bank checking account is linked, but I don't see it in online Quickbook bank transactions after several times clicking refresh.

Any other tips?

Hello there, @BeautyMarksAesthetics.

I understand how important it is to have your bank transactions appear in your QuickBooks Online account after linking it. Rest assured, I'm here to help you fix your bank connection with QuickBooks Online so your transactions flow perfectly into your QBO account.

Here's how to check different areas of your accounts to find missing transactions:

  1. Manually update your bank connection in QuickBooks Online. This will force QuickBooks to retrieve any new transactions from your bank.
    1. On the left menu, hover over Transactions and select Bank Transactions.
    2. Choose your bank from the selection, then click the Update button.
  2. Check around the Banking menu.
    1. While on the Bank Transactions page, check out the For Review, Categorized, and Excluded tabs for the transactions.

Sometimes, bank feeds may become disconnected on the bank's side. Log in to your bank's website to ensure there are no alerts or messages that need your attention. Banks sometimes require you to reauthorize the connection for security reasons.

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online support to investigate this case further and apply a solution as soon as possible.

After getting your transactions flowing into your QBO account, you can also consider categorizing them into their designated accounts.

Please don't hesitate to reply below if you have additional concerns besides fixing your bank transactions in your QuickBooks Online account. I'm always here to assist you.
