Hi jay74!

I understand that you need to upload a file from Chase Bank into QuickBooks Online. Allow me to help you.

We are unable to import a PDF file in QuickBooks Online for banking. The support file formats are .CSV, .QFX, .QBO, .OFX, or .TXT.

I suggest you visit the Apps menu. From there, you can see all our supported third-party applications including a file converter. You can search for one that you can use to make your PDF file a support one.

You also want to manually create a CSV file. You can simply copy the data from the PDF, paste it to Excel, then save it using the CSV format. You can find the detailed steps here: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.

Need help in categorizing bank transactions and reconciling accounts? We have articles about that:

Leave a comment below if you have other concerns with banking. I'll be here!
