Firstly, ensure you've downloaded and installed QB Desktop on your computer to guarantee a seamless process. Once done, you can use the migration tool to convert your QBO to QBDT easily. I'll gladly walk you through the steps on how to do so.
- Sign in to your QBO account you want to convert with a supported browser.
- Replace anything that is after the /app/ with exportqbodatatoqbdt.
- On the Export Overview, select Get Started.
- Choose the Download tool to download the QBDT migration tool.
- Once it's downloaded, launch the tool to install it and hit Next.
- Accept the terms in the license agreement and select Next.
- Choose Complete as the type of setup, then Next.
- Select Install and Finish.
