I would recommend to export all of your 2019 report to XLS, open a new QBSE account with current discounted plan, and cancel your old account.

Just my 2 cents.
Hi there, 513pmiranda.
I can provide the steps to delete your 2019 transactions. To do this, you'll need to delete them manually in your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.
Before doing that, I suggest exporting all the transactions to make sure you have the copy of your 2019 entries.
Please follow these steps on how to manually delete each transactions in your account:
1. Click the Transactions in the left panel.
2. Choose 2019 transactions.
3. Select the Delete icon. Then choose Apply.
4. Hit Yes to confirm.
If the transactions are downloaded from the bank, you'll need to exclude them.
Here's how:
1. Go to Transaction page at the left panel.
2. Select transactions by putting a checkmark in the box.
3. Choose the Exclude icon.
4. Hit the Apply button.
Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns. Wishing you and your business continued success.
I do not see a delete icon..... I have looked and looked on my computer and also on the IOS app. Please help.

Thanks for getting back to this thread, pjherbert.
I would like to add further clarification about deleting a transaction in QuickBoks Self-Employed (QBSE).
There are different ways on how to remove the transactions, depending on how you input them to your book. It could be that the transactions are the downloaded ones. That is why you've haven't seen an option to delete it.
You can only see the Delete icon if the transactions are manually entered in your book. Otherwise, you'll only have an option to exclude them. We can go back to the steps provided my colleague above and take a look at the sample screenshots below:
Delete icon for manually added transactions:
Exclude icon for the the downloaded transactions:
You'll want to visit these articles in your free time. It's all about managing transactions in QBSE.
Know that I am here together with my colleague to assist you further in case you need one. Thanks! Take care!
