How do I link my bank account?

Hi Aaron, could you clarify what you mean by not seeing bank transactions on your end? Are you referring to issues with connecting your bank account manually using the steps my colleague provided, or are transactions missing after linking your account?

If you are not seeing the Bank transactions tab in your QuickBooks Online account, this is due to recent updates. There are ways to locate this feature in the updated version of the product. Let me guide you through the steps below.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the All apps, then select Accounting.
  2. Choose Bank transactions.

However, if transactions are not showing after connecting your bank account, this could be due to a delay or a sync issue between your bank and QuickBooks Online. We recommend manually updating the connection from the banking page to refresh and pull the latest transactions into QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. From the Bank transactions page.
  2. In the upper right corner of the screen, click the Update button to refresh your banking page.

QuickBooks automatically downloads transactions from the last 90 days. If you need to access older transactions beyond this period, you can manually upload them into QuickBooks to ensure they’re included.
