How do I stop/cancel the instant deposit?

Hello, and welcome to the Community, osobandit.

I'm happy to share some information on this. Instant funding is an opt-in-only service, and once added to the account, it can't be disabled.  However, you don't have to cancel the Instant Deposit feature to avoid instant deposits by turning off the scheduling of them:

  1. Within your account select the gear icon.
  2. Navigate to Accounts and Settings.
  3. Select the Payments tab on the left.
  4. Select Deposit Speed.
  5. Set a schedule for instant deposit.
  6. Click the All Days checkbox to toggle all days to Off.

Now, when a deposit becomes available, you should be prompted to mark it for Instant Deposit, or not.

If the deposit is already underway, canceling will not the instant deposit will not be possible.

Here are a couple of articles you may find useful about instant deposits:

Feel free to reach out to me here if you have any questions. Enjoy the rest of your day!

How do I stop/cancel the instant deposit?

Hey Zack. I’ve had 4 chats & 2 calls today from your company and all of them have said I am UNABLE to remove the instant deposit feature altogether from my account. I literally do not know how that is legal. You make it sooooo easy to add the instant deposit feature WITHoUt telling us about the extra fees associated with it and then make it impossible to remove unless we completely close & delete our account and open a new one. That’s pure nonsense hogwash SCAM to me, your customer.

How do I stop/cancel the instant deposit?

When in payments, the section for deposit schedule does not have an edit option. Other sections have a pencil to click on. How do i edit this? I need instant deposit to go to another card

Thanks for joining this thread, Paulmills872.

After accessing your Payments tab in Account and settings, you can edit the deposit schedule by going to your Deposit Speed section, then clicking Set a schedule for instant deposits. When you're finished, select Save schedule.

If you're looking to change where your funds are deposited to, that can be edited from the Deposit accounts area.

Here's how:

  1. Use your Gear (⚙️) icon.
  2. Go to Account and settings.
  3. Access the Payments tab, then your Deposit accounts section.
  4. Click Change and edit your instant deposit details appropriately. If you switch from a personal debit card to your QuickBooks Checking debit card, be sure to choose the 0% fee option.
  5. Select Save, then Done.

I've also included a detailed resource about working with instant deposits which may come in handy moving forward: Get instant deposits

I'll be here to help if there's any questions. Have a lovely day!
