How to link credit card to the account

I can help you connect your credit card account, rshanon1. 

 

Once our account is connected via Online Banking, we automatically download and categorize your credit card transactions based from what the bank provides. 

 

We can connect your bank in two ways, it can be through the Chart of Accounts or from the Banking page.

 

I'll show you how to connect via the banking page:

  1. Go to the Banking menu. 
  2. At the upper-right, click Add account if you have the old interface and Link account for the new one. 
  3. Enter your bank name or the bank's URL. 
  4. Click Continue and enter your bank details. 
  5. Follow the onscreen instructions.
  6. In the Which accounts do you want to connect? page, select the existing credit card account from the drop-down arrow. 
  7. Select Connect

Once the transactions are already available in your bank feeds, we can categorize them.

I am on the banking page.... I had setup a checking account link..... but do not see an Add Button to add a credit card link.

Hello RickA1!

 

Thanks for joining the thread. I'm happy to walk you through connecting a credit card account.

 

The Add account button was available in the old interfaces, like what Catherine said. For the new one, you'll want to click on Link account beside Update and follow the on-screen instructions to connect a credit card account.

 

On the other hand, if you'll be connecting multiple credit card accounts in a parent-sub account setup, you'll only need to either connect the parent or the sub-accounts only. Please check this article for more details: About bank or credit card subaccount setup.
