Hello, jcochran.
I have information regarding the new Bank Deposit screen.
The new Bank Deposit screen is still under the beta testing phase. We rolled out an update that lets users test the new interface. If you go back to the classic view, we're unable to switch to the new interface again.
Our developers are still wrapping up the new feature. Once they're done, they'll automatically release the update so you can use the new style moving forward.
For now, I recommend checking our QuickBooks Blog page from time to time and read the "What's new in QBO" articles. They have an overview regarding the new updates in the program.
I'd recommend manually clicking the check boxes for the payments you want to deposit in the meantime. If you need help making deposits on the classic view, you can check this article: How to Record Bank Deposits in QuickBooks Online.
I'm adding our help articles in case you need assistance managing your customers and their transactions: Sales and customers.
Don't forget to visit this thread again if you have concerns regarding QuickBooks Online. I'm always here to help.
Oh look! No response from Quick Books! Well isn't that a surprise..So i'll post here and see if you make an effort

Last chance before i move this over to a more public social media platform
Lets try again ,,,, isn't it great how responsive and supportive Quickbooks are of their paying customers????
Don't you just love them???
I need this functionality back - I cannot complete my deposits without it.
There is nothing to say that if we use Beta and "accidentally" hit go back to classic - we cant have what we're used to and using for 2 years.
The only place that says we cant have this is "hearsay" from Intuit on this forum who only respond when they feel like it.
There's a great saying "Grow some balls and take ownership of the issue and resolve it!!"
Again - there is nothing in the T & C's which states we cant have that functionality back.
Is Intuit breaking contractual terms here?
I'll take care of this query for you, @101.
I see that you've posted the same concern and I already responded it.
