The information that's being downloaded in the bank register always depends on how a bank shared it with QuickBooks. You can exclude those duplicate transactions to remove those.

One of the possible reasons why there are duplicate transactions is that you've recorded the transactions within QuickBooks and added them from the Banking page.
Before anything else, may I know what bank is connected to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account? This way, we can verify if there's a reported issue with duplicate transactions and/or matching transactions. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.
In the meantime, you can consider undoing and excluding the duplicate transactions from the Banking page since matching them didn't work. Here's how to undo transactions:
Once done, the transactions are now moved to the For Review tab. Then, you can now exclude them. This will get rid of duplicate transactions.
After removing all the duplicate transactions, you may now proceed with reconciling the account. If you still get the same result, feel free to check out this article for some troubleshooting steps: Fix issues for accounts you've reconciled in QuickBooks Online.
