It's good to have you here, @Andreas1220. I'm here to share information about undoing a reconciliation in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
You can easily undo a reconciliation in any view. If you wish to delete multiple reconciled transactions at once, you can let your accountant handle the deletion process since they have a special reconciliation tool. If you don't have an accountant, find a reliable one near you: Find a ProAdvisor.
However, you also have the option to done it manually. If you already know what transaction are you going to modify, follow the steps below to undo it:
- Select Chart of Accounts from Settings, find the reconciled account, then choose View Register.
- Click the transaction to lengthen the perspective.
- Choose the "R" in the box from the checkmark column until the box is blank.
- If done, hit Save.
In addition to reviewing your reconciliation on-screen, you can print or export it for your records. It can come in handy for future reference or to keep a physical copy of the reconciliation.
