I am trying to reconcile the savings account but it is not letting me account for the interest( there is no specific spot to add the interest earned)?

Adding the interest amount is a crucial step of the reconciliation process to ensure accurate financial reporting, usermyprodry. I'll provide details and help you find that option.

The interest input field is located on the initial page of the reconciliation window. If you're currently viewing the transaction list, it means you've already moved past that.

In that case, you'll need to restart the reconciliation process to be able to type in the interest. Let me show you how:

  1. Click the drop-down list beside Save for later.
  2. Select Close without saving.
  3. Choose Close without saving once again.

This will exit the current reconciliation view and will take you back to the start of the reconciliation process.
