I can't link my Lowe's commercial credit card to QBO. They changed their URL and QBO doesn't recognize it. Can I manually add the URL to QBO?

why is it so difficult for qbo support to relay a message to the engineering team to try the website www.lowes.syf.com/commercial i can link my account but the purchase and return transactions do not come over to qbo from lowes but my payments do and the fact that you tell us to download our transactions manually each day or each week etc is crazy because we are paying for a service that we are not getting to benefit from and not one is compensating us back for what we are paying.

Has anyone had any luck with this??  I tried again today and all it downloaded was my payments on the account - no expenses.  Beyond frustrating!! Apparently QB doesn't care at all about getting this fixed since it has been a problem for most of 2023. Ugh.

This is the only solution so far - import manually. Here's the steps I did:

1. In the Lowes website navigate to BILLING > INVOICES

2. over on the right side there is an option to DOWNLOAD RANGE OF INVOICES.

3. Then select CHOOSE FILE FORMAT and change to QUICKBOOKS.

4. Select ALL INVOICES.

5. Select which account you want to include (we only have one account so I just had to click that one)

6. then select a start date. Mine stopped importing on 3/24. So i had to download in 2 batches since it will only allow a download range of 90 days. I chose 3/24-5/31

7. Select DOWNLOAD.

8. Then change the date range (I did 2 months at a time) and download again.

9. NOW .... go back to Quickbooks. Under the big gear, look under the TOOLS column and choose IMPORT DATA.

10. You're going to import BANK DATA.

11. On the left side where it says "Manually upload your transactions" I click on "select files" in blue at the bottom and navigated to my downloads. Open the file you just downloaded.

Follow the rest of the steps and TADA the transactions are all in the banking tab ready for you to categorize and add.

12. Do it again (steps 9-11) if you have a second file to upload like I did.

GOOD LUCK!!!  You can also import CSV which is a few more steps but I think I prefer that method. Just make sure all the amounts are NEGATIVE so they import as "money out" instead of "money in".

it's approaching a year since Lowes - Synchrony Bank connected to Quickbooks Online and that is more than enough time for the 2 companies to have figured out the connection issue so we should all just assume that no one with either company has anyone in their IT department smart enough to resolve the connection issue and we should accept the fact that we need to manually enter Lowe's receipts. It is the year end for most of us and we have waited and given a different story everytime we communicate by phone or any other means. I contact Lowe's everytime I contact Quickbooks/Intuit so I can see if I can be told something more reasonable.

February 2024 and still not working. That's a year and just short of 4 months from the original post. When I first set up QBO, it worked but wouldn't stay connected. However, if I clicked on the reconnect button it would work for that session. I had to do it every session. Now it won't work at all, I have to export from the bank to a CSV file then import that to QBO. There is clearly a communication issue between QBO and Synchrony, and Intuit is in no rush to fix it. It would be better to just say "Synchrony accounts are not compatible" than this "we're working on it" nonsense that clearly isn't true. If it's doable at all, the software engineers should have found a way to do it by now.

We see where you're coming from, Hawthorne-IS. We'll help you review your Banking/Transactions menu to ensure QuickBooks thoroughly downloads your transactions.

Before we start, we want to check if you've experienced any error messages with Synchrony or during the bank transaction downloads. This will help me provide a precise solution for this issue.

Let's begin a manual download of your latest available transactions. This refreshes the connection between your bank and the program. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking or Transactions menu.
  2. Select the blue tile for your linked bank account.
  3. Click the Update button.

Next, log in to your bank's website to evaluate your account page for any important messages or alerts. If you make any changes, such as updating login credentials or account information, remember to also update QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking or Transactions menu.
  2. Select the blue tile for your linked bank account.
  3. Click the Edit icon.
  4. Choose either Edit sign-in info or Edit account info

For the complete guide, you can refer to this article: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Once you obtain your latest available transactions, review and categorize them. Then, reconcile your accounts so they always match your monthly statements.

We're all ears if you have other banking concerns or questions about managing transactions in QBO. You can drop a comment below, and we'll gladly help.

I can +1 this issue, Sweetwater Sound also uses Synchrony Bank, and the account is in a constant stand of reconnecting even after multiple relinks and such.
I know for a fact it's QuickBooks, and it sucks because I literally just got QuickBooks less than a month ago. Sweetwater is probably THE biggest vendor I buy from.

Funny thing is, I can easily connect the synchrony account to credit karma (OWNED by Intuit) and other financial platforms like Empower. Based on every reply so far, it seems like QBO is essentially denying that there is any issue and just giving everyone the exact same response.

I have been unable to connect my OBO account to my Lowe's commercial account for 432 days.  It worked for 12 years then in 2023 it failed.  OBO has told me they are working on it.  They have told me that weekly for over a year.  Today I told Lowes I would stop using them until they got OBO to work with Lowes.  I suggest you all do the same because OBO is not able to fix it

I'm having the same problem and disappointed to see that it's a long standing issue.  I feel similar in closing my account and going elsewhere.  Lowe's constantly disappoints...

I have been having the same issue with multiple clients with the Lowe's credit card.  Have been on the phone with QuickBooks tech support and Lowe's and their is a lot of finger pointing and no solution.  For small business who use Lowe's for a lion's share of their transactions, this is extremely time consuming and frustrating.  QuickBooks needs to apply resources to this and get it fixed.

I can't link my Lowe's commercial credit card to QBO. They changed their URL and QBO doesn't recognize it. Can I manually add the URL to QBO?

I have gone through these exact steps to disconnect and relink my Lowe's credit card.  The link provided is

Lowe's Business (Synchrony)
This is the same link used to login and download my credit card statement and view current transactions.  QBO acts like it is connecting but no transactions appear in my bank feed.  I have requested support from my bank. The bank claims the problem is not on their end.   No error messages are given.  Lowe's states that there is no reason on their end that this should not work.

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools with a one time license (e.g csv2qbo @ $60) for the time being.
