It's not about liking or disliking.  You use Undeposited Funds if you have more than one payment in a deposit, so that you can create a Bank Deposit transaction, and  match it to the bank transaction, in For Review and when you do the Reconciliation. It's there to help.  If there is just one payment being deposited then simply select the bank account in the Deposit To box of a Receive Payment or Sales Receipt. It remembers the last choice made, so if you always deposit just one payment at a time it will always be the bank account

Well for me, undposited funds is a pain. From my phone I can record a payment, but then I have to go to a computer and deposit into the only businesses account I have. This is by far the most annoying thing with Quickbooks. Many people cannot stand this issue and yet Quickbooks feels its necessary..its not. My accountant laughs about this for a company as small mine with one business account. I should be able to deposit directly into the only banking account I have.

Hello ayaroch,

We understand that you don't want to use the Undeposited Funds account for your mobile invoice payments. However, we currently don't have a setting in QuickBooks Online Mobile App to change the Deposit to fields to the desired bank account.

It'd be best sending us feedback about it by clicking on the Gear icon and selecting Feedback. For now, you'll need to log in the QuickBooks Online using a browser, and deposit the payments using the Bank Deposit function.

We'll be glad to help you if you need anything else.
