I have merged two bank accounts together, neither have online access. However, when I try to reconcile only one of the two sets of transactions appear. Where's the other?

I only have access to one of the sets of bank transactions not both, when trying to reconcile, let me know what I need to do to reconcile this account. What's odd, is that both sets of transactions are in the register...they just aren't available for me to reconcile in the reconciliation screen.

Let's get to the bottom of this, cmiller.

It's possible that those transactions are already reconciled. Reconciled transactions will no longer show on the Reconcile page.

Let's check it on the register. Here's how:

  1. Click Accounting, then go to the Chart of Accounts tab.
  2. Choose the bank account, then click View register.
  3. Check the column between the DEPOSIT and BALANCE columns. If you can see R, it means it's already reconciled.

Check screenshot.

Please keep me updated on what you've found out or if you need further help. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I had merged 2 bank accounts on quickbooks. After I merged the accounts into 1, I connected the bank again with quickbooks and updated the transactions. My issue now is that the balance in Quickbooks is not subtracting all my transactions. They are showing in the "Reviewed" transactions part of the Banking area. How can I fix that?

I have merged two bank accounts together, neither have online access. However, when I try to reconcile only one of the two sets of transactions appear. Where's the other?

Let me help you with the downloaded bank transactions, Entrepreneur17.

If the downloaded transactions are not yet recorded in your register, the it will not affect your bank balance. Let's make sure we choose the correct account when downloading the transactions.

Then, go back in the Reviewed tab and click the Undo link to put back the transactions in the For Review tab.

Then, manually add or match the downloaded transactions again. This way, they'll be added to your bank register to have correct bank balance.

Just check out this article for the steps and details: Match and categorize bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. Then, go to Step 2: Review your downloaded bank transactions section.

You can also manually add the bank transactions directly in your register. You can follow the steps in the Step 2: Add a transaction to a register section in this article: Add transactions to account registers in QuickBooks Online.

I have a link here where you can find articles about managing your bank feeds: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/banking/07?product=QuickBooks%20Online.

Fill me in if you need a hand with reconciling your accounts or any QBO related. I'll be here to help. Have a wonderful day ahead.
