 Hi jmcrowder-1124. Although the tool says it is creating a .QFX file (which can't be used for conversion), it is also creating a .QDF file. This is the file that you want to convert, not the .QFX.

The file should be in a folder named Q18Files or Q17Files these folders should be in the same location as the original Quicken file.

1. Once you find the .QDF file simply follow these steps:

2. Select Files then Utilities

3. Click Convert and then From Quicken

4. Select the Quicken file (.QDF) that you want to convert.

5. The Conversion Utility will guide you through the rest of the conversion.

Let me know if you need anything else, and here's an article on how to convert to QuickBooks Desktop from Quicken that may help you. Have a great day.

@jmcrowder-1124

Your tag is QBSE. Keep in mind, you are only able migrating data from QB Desktop to QB Online, not QBSE.
