Hello there, @wcwagner.
I've got the steps that you need to do so you can get your back transaction from a closed bank account.
When disconnecting a bank account in QuickBooks Online, make sure to add and match all the pending transactions in the Banking page. Please take note that disconnecting the automatic online banking updates will delete any transactions in the For Review tab.
To get your transaction back into the system, I suggest reaching out to your financial institution and ask for a copy of your bank transactions. This way, you'll be able to upload these entries manually in QBO.
Once you have the copy already, you may upload them by following these steps:
- In QuickBooks Online, go to the Banking menu.
- Click the Link Account drop-down to see the Upload from file option.

- Press Browse and choose the file you want to upload.

- In the QuickBooks account ▼ drop-down, select the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then select Next.
- Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Next.
- When you’re ready, select Let's go.

Let me know how things go. I'll be right here if you need anything else. Have a great rest of the week!
