I set up my Cit credit card connection 10 days ago but it hasn't updated since then, even after I clicked the "Update" button. Is this a known issue?

Hello there, henry-x-zhao-gma.

Thank you for posting in the Community. I'd be happy to help you updating bank accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

May I know what's the name of the financial institution? It can help me check if we have a reported issue related to your concern and is there any errors when updating your bank account so that I can provide you the best resolution.

For now, we can try some basic troubleshooting steps to update it. Let's start with updating your bank account manually. It refreshes the connections between the bank's website and QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. On the left pane, choose Banking.
  2. Click the credit card account from the Bank and Credit Cards drop-down menu.
  3. Tap the Update button. Please run the update around 3-5 times to build a stable connection.

If you get the same result, let's verify if you can log in to your bank's website through the URL that it has provided for online banking. Make sure you're using the same URL in QuickBooks Online.

Here's how:

  1. On the left pane, hit Banking
  2. At the top left, click Banking
  3. Choose  Add Account
  4. Search and select your bank from the list.
  5. Tick the login URL for your bank's website posted at the top of the window
  6. Log in using your bank username and password
  7. Verify that you are able to access your account through this linked website. Log in and confirm that you can see your account summary, account history, and account details without any errors.

Once you verified, try to update from the Bank Feed again. If the issue persists, I recommend following the additional solutions found in the article below. Please go directly to steps 3 and 4: Fix online banking errors in QuickBooks Online.

I've also added this article to help you manually upload your transactions to QuickBooks Online.

You can get back to me anytime you have additional questions about updating bank connections in QuickBooks. Take care!

Hi it was my Citi bank credit  cards and after a number of failed try of update, I had to delete the account and re-link, which solved the problem. Now, a few days later the same problem seems to re-surface..

I am new to QB with an impression that it is among the most popular (and mature?) products of its kind. Anybody wants to correct my expectation?

Thx.
