I started a new entity. I already use Quickbooks. How do I add a new company and am I able to toggle back and forth between the two?

One QBO account is for one company file. You will have to sign up for the second QBO account. Then you can open the first account on the primary browser and the second one on the incognito/private browser.

I'm here to help you how to add a new company, bruce73.

You can have more than one company listed on the same account in QuickBooks Online (QBO). All company files can be accessed using the same sign-in credentials, but one company file is equivalent to one subscription. You can manage things more effectively because this makes it easy to transition between organizations.

To add a new company, here's how:

  1. Go to this website: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing/
  2. Choose Buy Now or Free 30-day trial.
  3. Select the plan you want to avail.
  4. Enter the same existing credentials you always use and select Add new company.
  5. From there, you can start setting up the new company.

If you want to switch to other companies, simply click the Gear icon, then select Switch Company.
