I use Fishbowl to import my sales and inventory from Shopify to QBO. Fishbowl doesn't import Shopify Payouts. Can "Shopify Connector by QuickBooks" import payouts only?

Are you running a manufacturing company? You can use another connector to replace FB or use an additional connector to reconcile Shopify transactions into QBO.

Yes we are running a manufacturing company. The only piece of information we are missing is the Shopify Payouts. It appears that this app can import what we want but I want to be sure before I implement it that I can set it to import payouts only instead of summarized order data as well. Prior to implementing FB we were using Synder to import our Shopify Data into QBO and that can import payouts but we were looking to ditch that bill and just use this free app if it will do what we want. Any experience with it?

Not sure if my last reply went through. Yes we are a manufacturing company and FB is providing everything we need except the payouts. Prior to FB we used Synder to import everything from Shopify and we still have it but the plan we are on seems like overkill just to import Payouts. We would like to get rid of that bill and move to the "Shopify Connector for Quickbooks" if it has the functionality to import payouts only and not sales transaction data (which would create duplicates in QBO). Can I use this app for Payouts only?

The option to set Shopify Connector by QuickBooks to only import payouts is unavailable. For now, this app tracks your payouts by splitting them into summarized sales receipts, refund receipts, and expenses to record fees.

Dealin' with fishbowl, Shopify, and QuickBooks - man, I get the hassle. Tryin' to sync everything without messing it up? Yeah, can be a real pain. You prolly wanna steer clear from that "shopify connector by QuickBooks" deal becuase it can end up screwing your order records - duplication of sales adn inventory entries.

So you just want to sync payouts from Shopify into QuickBooks Online, right? Too bad, straight from the "shopify connector" settings, it dont work that way. It's like, all-or-nothing with sales adn payouts. But hey, here's a lil hack: Zapier or integromat can come to teh resuce. Set up a workflow that only grabs tha payouts and sends them to QuickBooks. This way, only the stuff you need gets synced, dodgin' the duplicate mess.

Creating that zap might sound tricky at first, with payments and mappings and all, but once you tinker a bit, it's a real game-changer. Trust me, got it goin' once I had to tweak it, an' it works becuase it lets you keep yer records neat without the biz clutter. Good luck!
