I've updated Transactions. The balance is correct for my bank account but I'm not seeing the latest transactions. (They appear eventually.) Why is there a delay?

Thanks for using QuickBooks for tracking your business transactions, @mark-mhb-associa. I know it can be challenging when you can't see your latest bank transactions. I'll share some insights.

 

QuickBooks Online (QBO) is dependent on when your financial institution will share the transactions with us. This could be the reason why you can't view your latest transactions.

 

To check if the latest transactions are now available, we can update your bank account in QBO. I'll show you how:

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu on the left pane.
  2. Click on the Banking tab.
  3. Select the account you’re working on.
  4. Next, click on the Update button.

 

If you still can't see them, you can download the missing transactions manually from your bank's website and import them into QuickBooks. I've included the following articles below for more insights:

 

 

Once everything's good, you can proceed to categorize and match your online bank transactions. This is to ensure that they are posted to the appropriate accounts.

I've updated Transactions. The balance is correct for my bank account but I'm not seeing the latest transactions. (They appear eventually.) Why is there a delay?

My bank is currently doing this with transactions I manually upload.  I don't know what changed in the last few weeks.   But I will upload transactions and they won't show up to be categorized for sometimes 10 minutes.   Even if I refresh or navigate away and then back again.   Eventually they do, but it is very frustrating
