We accept credit or debit cards for your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription payment. It must have a US-based billing address, excluding US territories.
These are the accepted cards:
- Visa
- MasterCard
- American Express
- Discover
If your card has expired, let's update it so you can pay the subscription. Here's how:
- Log in as the Master or Company Admin.
- Go to the Gear (⚙) icon at the upper right and select Account and Settings.
- Choose Billing & Subscription from the left menu.
- Click Edit (✎) beside Payment Method.
- Update your credit card info.
- Make sure the Billing address in QBO is the same as the one on your credit card statement.
- Click Save.

Aside from updating your credit card details, there are other tasks you can perform in the Billing & Subscription tab. Two of them are upgrading or downgrading your plan.
