We have Desktop 2016 Premier. Out credit cards are sourced through US Bank, which only provides PDF or hard copy statements.
If I can create an Excel file of these transactions, is there anyway to upload these transactions in Desktop 2016 Premier? If not this version, is there a different or newer Desktop version that will take this kind of upload?
Thanks
Tom
Hi Tom,
QuickBooks Desktop only accepts transactions in a web connect file with a QBO format. You can try finding applications that will convert your Excel file to QBO format. You can find one in the QuickBooks Desktop Marketplace.
Here's an article for additional reference: Import Web Connect (.qbo) Files.

US Bank provides direct connect and web connect (which is you logging into their website and getting the .qbo file directly) and they Charge Extra for this. What you can ask your bank about is "SinglePoint Essentials" and they are ridiculously costly. I do this for a client file that I manage, and one of the board directors is a VP there. I have advised them to leave, but they won't.
