Is anyone else having issues with their US Bank bank connection?

On November 3, my QuickBooks online quit connecting and communicating with Commercial US Bank account. Therefore, no longer updating the transactions.
This has happened once before and took over two weeks to resolve, and I had to upload the transactions manually.
I can still login to my commercial US Bank and my login is still working appropriately.

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser.

Is anyone else having issues with their US Bank bank connection?

Upon checking, I found no recent reports similar to your bank connectivity (Commercial Bank) concern in QuickBooks Online (QBO), wahanner. I'm here to help you resolve this matter so you can continue managing your data seamlessly.

To address your situation precisely, may I ask if you've encountered a specific error code when linking or updating your account to QBO? Any additional details or screenshots could help us handle the connection problem accordingly.

While waiting for your response, I'll share some troubleshooting steps you can follow to resolve bank connectivity problems in QuickBooks. To start, kindly log in to your bank's website and check for any alerts and notifications about maintenance. If none, kindly refresh your account's connection by clicking the Update button.

Once you get the same result, we can follow @Chrea's recommendation to access the account using a private browser. It restricts external utilities from being stored in your browsing history.

Please refer to these keyboard shortcut keys to proceed:

  • Google Chrome: CtrlShift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: CtrlShiftP
  • Microsoft Edge: CtrlShiftN
  • Safari: CommandShiftN

When you can smoothly sync your Commercial Bank account data using the private session, kindly revert to your standard browser and clear its cache. Doing so eliminates excessive data build-up and revitalizes QBO's system. If the problem continues, you can utilize another supported browser.

Should you encounter the same result, I'd recommend disconnecting and reconnecting the account from online banking. You can also consider manually importing your transactions for the time being.

I've also attached a resource you may check to guide you through the accurate reconciliation process in the platform: Learn the reconciliation workflow in QuickBooks.

I'll be here once you provide more information about your bank connection error or if you need help managing your transactions in QuickBooks. Just tag me on this thread so I can provide prompt assistance.
