i'm using qbo mainly, but for this workaround, i'm having to use csv. However, i am now having to manually categorize my transactions as the rules created aren't picking up the data.

It's possible that the accumulated cache in the browser is the cause of that error or this could be a bank issue. To isolate it, let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps to fix it.
Let's access your QuickBooks account in a private incognito browsing window. This helps identify if it's a browser-related issue since this doesn't save site data.

Once done, import the file again. If it works, we'll have to go back to your regular browser and then clear the cache to delete the stored junk files and improve the system performance. In addition, we can use other supported browsers to further isolate the issue.
