Apart from *.qbo, what file formats can you download?

i'm using qbo mainly, but for this workaround, i'm having to use csv.  However, i am now having to manually categorize my transactions as the rules created aren't picking up the data.

Utilize the trial version for csv2qbo converter tool to isolate the problem.

I'll make sure that you can successfully import your file, jason-point-com.

It's possible that the accumulated cache in the browser is the cause of that error or this could be a bank issue. To isolate it, let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps to fix it.

Let's access your QuickBooks account in a private incognito browsing window. This helps identify if it's a browser-related issue since this doesn't save site data.

Here are the shortcut keyboards:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P for Firefox and Microsoft Edge
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N for Chrome
  • Press Command + Shift + N for Safari

Once done, import the file again. If it works, we'll have to go back to your regular browser and then clear the cache to delete the stored junk files and improve the system performance. In addition, we can use other supported browsers to further isolate the issue.

Once the transactions are uploaded, kindly refer to this article for the detailed steps: Match and categorize bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. It also contains information on how to exclude personal or duplicate transactions.

Please keep in touch with me here if you have any additional questions about uploading the web connect files. I'm always around to help. Thanks for coming to the Community, keep safe.
