Yes, you can create a 3 or 4 columns layout of a CSV file for your bank transactions. Let me help you with how to create the format.

 

To start with, make sure to layout the Date, Description, and Amount as the column header of your CSV file. That being said, here's a screenshot for your visual reference.

Thanks, but I know how to add bank transactions.  I was able to add a "sales tax" transaction by creating a .csv file with

DateTypeTitleInfoCurrencyAmount
11/1/2020TransactionSales tax for order #Sales TaxUSD($9.99)

and importing via the Cash account.  What I am looking for is if I can also import fields for Notes field.  Also wondering if I should enter "business" under type and if "sales tax" should go under "category"?

 

Really just looking if anyone has ALL the column headers that one can use to import a transaction so that I don't have to go into the app and manually enter what hasn't been entered or set.

Let me shed some light on the import format for .cvs file layout in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

 

When importing transactions in QBSE, you can only map up to 5 types of fields (Date, Description, Amount, Debit, and Credit). Only the fields mentioned will be recognized in QBSE regardless if it has a sales tax or under a business or personal type of category.
