What will happen if i reverse a payment made to me in merchant services? I dont want fees and the customer can pay me by mail...
Hello there, @the_tile_setters. I'll share some information about what happens when you reverse a payment in Merchant Services.
If you reverse your customer payments before the batch closes (before 3 PM), the processing fees will not incur. However, if you reverse a payment after the batch closes, it will incur the same processing fees as the original transaction.
For reference, check out this article: Void or refund transactions in QuickBooks Payments.
I also added this helpful resource that you can use to help you find transactions, deposits, or fees using your Merchant Service Center: Find transactions, deposits, or fees in the Merchant Service Center.
