Money has been stolen

Money has been stolen from our QuickBooks account. Currently over 7000.00!  We don’t have a way to stop it and don’t have anyone to talk to. What do we do? Need help asap

We just noticed that someone has purchased tickets for 3000 and 4000 on Egyptian airlines. Is there a way to contest those? How do we stop it? How do we get that money back

How did they steal from you to buy tickets? There is a possibility that your credit card has been hijacked. You can disconnect any of your credit cards from your QBO account to make sure.

Money has been stolen

The only card associated with QB is the QB debit card. Again no one who we can contact to discuss or stop

How do we disconnect the debit card? Can we dispute those charges?

Assuming it is through the QB debit card. That is the only card associated with the QB account. How do we cancel he debit card? Can we dispute the charges?

Hi there, @Reva01. I'll share some details about your concern so you can get through this.

know that only your bank can check the transactions that have been made using your account. I recommend reaching out to your bank provider. That way, they can give you an advice on what to do when dealing with fraud charges on your account

.Additionally, I'd suggest visiting this page for tips on how to detect fraud in QuickBooks Online (QBO) : Detecting & Mitigating Fraud.

If you come across any suspicious transactions (QuickBooks Checking) and want to dispute them, call the number on the back of your QuickBooks Debit Card. Green Dot will review your account and ensure that everything is settled. Also, inform them that you want to cancel the debit card account so they can help you through the process.

This reference covers everything you need to know about managing your Cash Flow planner, envelopes, and QuickBooks debit card: Learn more about QuickBooks Checking accounts and the Cash Flow menu. It contains responses to common scenarios encountered by users when using the feature.

The Number on back of card is unavailable after hours. Had to wait until 9am the next morning (7/6) to get a human to answer. Could do absolutely nothing until the Pacific time zone hours they hold opened. Ridiculous.  Filed a dispute case over the, in the end 9886$, charges against my business card. 4 separate purchases from Egyptair, 4 separate foreign transaction fees from QBooks. If this was a secure place to have money for a business then there should never have been a way for four separate charges to happen consecutively without zero question to my phone number for confirmation of transaction. And to then charge FOREIGN transaction fees for a card that’s never even left the state it operates in! So I’ve opened a case to dispute the charges , won’t know if it’s accepted for ten business days, by which at this point will only be known via mail that will arrive and until then I’m 100% stranded with a drained bank account for my business. Horrible situation. This is Horrible checking for small business owners. So very disappointed.
