After several CHAT and phone support that has not been successful. I am reaching out to the community. This is not a banking error, not only because they said so but because QB own support sheets say if i can create a new company and bank feeds work then its not the bank. I have tried: deactivate/reactivate accounts, reset bank connection, uninstall/reinstall, updates to QB, updates to windows, rebuild and verify data, repair file, fix doctor repair file! So any suggestions before i recreate my company would be appreciated;
I really appreciate the time you spend, misstmb2.
I'd like to share what I know about this issue.
A temporary bank server outage or data integrity issues are the main causes of this. Let's create a test company file to determine if this is the case.
Here's how:
1. Click the File menu, select New Company.
2. Select Express Start or Start Setup.
3. Enter All required info, choose Create Company, and then hit Start Working.
If you get the same error, this means that there's a problem with the connection from your bank. You can contact your financial institution since there might be some changes on your bank account status or their server is under maintenance.
Please review this guide for your reference: Get help with error OL 301 or 393.
Keep in touch with us if you have further questions about bank connections. We're always here to help you.
Try create a backup file (QBB) and restore it with a new file name.
Yes per my original inquiry this has been done; the test company works fine therefore the problem is not with the bank; I have also banged my head on the wall communicating this to the last support person i worked with
Thanks but it didn't work

How big is your file size?
I have already tried this and it did not work
This has been done and noted in my inquiry; As stated, I have already created a new company and this fixes the problem. Per troubleshooting, it states if this is the case, it is not the bank
After 1 hour on the phone at least 2 times, I have stopped counting, QB was unable to help me. But they wanted me to spend more money to escalate the problem. Ridiculous!
This fixed worked for me and might help. Go to your accounts list and select show inactive accounts. If any of your bank accounts in your particular bank are marked as inactive but still have the lightning bolt to show it's still connected: Click on that account and then edit and select the bank feeds on the top tab. Then select Deactivate All Online Services.
I have run into this problem yet again and thought i would update the post so that it may help some poor soul:
This time i had a different resolution to this problem that occurs every 6 months or so. I had the bank close out one of my client's accounts. But I had not reconciled the account yet so it didn't dawn on me to make it inactive. Not even sure i can make inactive without doing a final reconcile. But as i went through each client on chart of accounts, the bulb came on. I immediately reconciled and made inactive and bank feeds were working again.
But in most instances, I notice this problem occurs typically after a QB update, i usually can deactivate and reactivate someone and we are set, don't forget to hit the control button when bank feed is transmitting.
misstmb2
thanks so much for sharing your fix to this error! it's been making me crazy for over a month, and your method resolved it.
THANK YOU!!! This was my fix too! It was actually the same account just new credit card that messed it up.
I know this seems odd but I have been getting that code as well. I comes on the back of a monthly reoccurring payment. I tried changing the amount by $.01 and resending it and it went through. Why, I cannot say but it may be the bank or it may be QB. Try it!
This solution worked perfect, hours on the phone with bank!
Thanks for sharing, In my case the error occured because one of the loan accounts configured for feeds was paid off and closed. I needed to disable feeds on that. Worked well for a minute, was able to connect and download 3 accounts, and have a different error about failure to complete connection to another account now.
