Online Banking with Chase Bank (ALL) new does not bring in more than one accounts transactions.

I was successful getting all my Chase accounts redone with the new Chase Bank (All) feed, but now I cannot retrieve all the account activity together.  I have to go through them one by one which is very time consuming.   Is there a fix for this?  I have 5 bank accounts and 12 credit card accounts that have several transactions a day.  There used to be a button on the upper right corner that would bring in all transactions for all the Chase accounts but it is no longer there.  I am using QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus 2022.

  2. Select Bank Feeds.
  3. Click the Bank Feeds Center.
  4. Select the Chase account and click the Refresh icon a couple of times every after 2 minutes.

If the issue continues to occur, we need ensure to update our QuickBooks Desktop software is in its latest release. This guarantees you have the most recent features and fixes and let's perform verify and rebuild to isolate any possible data damage or corrupted data.

To Verify:

  1. Go to the File menu and select Utilities.

  3. Once you’ve verified your data, you can rebuild your company file to fix any errors or data damage that's found.

To Rebuild:

  2. Select Rebuild Data, then select OK to close all windows.

We can also see this article for the complete process: Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop.

Lastly, let's change the display settings in QuickBooks from your Windows settings or adjust the view preferences in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) from company preferences. It will resolve any display issues might you have.

Here's how to change display settings in QuickBooks:

  1. Close your QBDT and go to your Windows Start menu.
  2. Find your QBDT and then right-click the QuickBooks icon and select Open file location.
  3. In the folder, right-click the QuickBooks.exe file and select Properties.
  4. Go to the Compatibility tab and select the Disable display scaling on high DPI settings checkbox. You can also select Change high DPI settings and then Override high DPI scaling behavior.
  5. Click on Apply and then OK.

Thank you for your quick response, however you completely misunderstand my problem.

All the transactions come through fine, I just have to retrieve each one separately.  Maybe you can re-read my post?

I am having the same issue.  I have one bank account and 15 credit cards and it is extremely frustrating to have to refresh each account individually.

I am also have issues with the bank feeds downloading the same transactions multiple times.  Are you seeing this issue as well?  I have to assume this was a feature pushed by Chase and not QuickBooks but I absolutely hate it.  The bank feeds used to work perfectly and now I'm ready to cancel the entire service because even with the large volume of transactions we have, it might be faster than dealing with these duplicate downloads.

This cut and paste response from QB support is hilarious!!! They should of added " Go outside and see if the sky is blue", Me: "Ok im back, the sky is blue" QB Support: "Good! we just need to make sure".

It's not clear to me that Advanced Bank Fees is an upgrade.

It's clearly much slower than using the prior Bank Feeds.

There are some improved features, but the downloads from Chase are tedious.

I was generally happy with the prior setup, and I believe that this is taking consdierably longer with Advanced Bank Fees.  Also, just to keep complaining -- too much of Advanced Bank Feeds has to be done with a mouse -- that's not a good way to go through life.

Did you ever resolve your issue with the Chase Accts after their change?

I'm working with a similar issue and QBs support has been less than helpful.

I did not. I have started just downloading the activity directly from Chase Connect and uploading it into QuickBooks. It does allow you to download the transactions as a QBO file. When you upload it to QuickBooks, they put it in the bank feeds and you can approve transactions like the old bank feeds. The downside is that I have 15 individual credit card users and I have to download and upload each card individually. It takes longer than before, but works much better than the new bank feeds.

I am completely in agreement with you cmalbarado.  So frustrating.  It takes so long to do the transactions now that I actually play solitaire while I'm waiting for each account to update each morning.  I have about 15 credit card accounts and 4 checking/savings accounts to do.  Doesn't look like Intuit or Chase give much empathy to our situation.

By downloading the QBO files did that also solve the problem of the transactions reappearing after they've been matched, or do you still get duplicate transactions?

Hi drichweb,

You'll still get duplicates when you download the transactions again. To avoid this, you'll have to exclude and delete them from the bank feeds. Here's how:

  1. From the Banking tab, select Banking.
  2. Go to the Categorized tab.
  3. Select the checkbox of the transactions to exclude.
  4. Go to the For review tab.
  5. Select the same transactions.
  6. Hit Exclude.
  7. On the Excluded tab, tick the transactions again.
  8. Select Delete.

From there, you can re-download the transactions. Then, categorize them. Once done, you can check this article to reconcile the transactions: Reconcile accounts.

Keep me posted if you need help with the reconciliation. I'll be around to help.

I would rather not download bank reports to upload to QBDT. Bank Feeds used to work just fine. So, can you explain why lately the bank (cc and checking) transactions that downloaded via bank feeds and we MATCHED will show up again the next time I open bank feeds. (This means continually comparing the check or cc register against the downloaded transactions to see what has already been matched and marking the duplicate bank feed transactions as "Ignore" to finally get rid of them.)

I just got off phone with QB rep trying to set mine up.  We nested the individual cards under a single parent account for the credit card account. Hoping I can reconcile the parent only and it work as my other credit card accounts do. We will see I suppose.
