Previous reconciliation

I am not getting an option to choose the date on my previous reconciliation report.  My ink has made the detailed pages unreadable and I can only print one month back. Any suggestions on how to get that option to pop up?

Previous reconciliation

Hello there, LilyAlex. Welcome to the Community forum.

Let me share information about running previous bank reconciliations.

In QuickBooks Desktop Premier, Accountant, and Enterprise, you can pull up a report for the last 120 reconciliations. However, if you're using QuickBooks Desktop Pro, it'll only allow you to access the last reconciliation report created.

To view the previous reconciliation report, here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu at the top.
  2. Select Banking.
  3. Click on Previous Reconciliation.
  4. In the Select Previous Reconciliation Report window, choose the appropriate Account and the Statement Ending Date.
  5. Choose the Type of Report.
  6. Choose the type of transactions to include in the report.
  7. Click Display.

You can also check this article for your reference:  Get reports for previous reconciliations in QuickBooks Desktop.

In case you encounter issues when reconciling, here's a resource that you can visit: Fix issues when you're reconciling in QuickBooks Desktop. It contains helpful information on fixing some issues when doing reconciliation.

Please let me know if you have any other concerns about the previous bank reconciliation. I'm always here to help. Take care and have a great day ahead.

Previous reconciliation

I am not getting an option to choose a date.  It will only print the most recent reconciliation.

Previous reconciliation

I’m here to provide additional information @LilyAlex.

As mentioned above, you can only get a Date filter option on your Previous Reconciliation report if you’re using QuickBooks Desktop Premier, Accountant, and Enterprise edition. Also, please know that your most recent reconciliation is only available in QuickBooks Desktop Pro.

You can press F2 on your keyboard to verify your product information. If you aren’t using Pro edition, you can utilize the Verify and Rebuild Data tools to help identify issues within your company file while fixing them quickly.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the File menu, then click Utilities.
  2. Select Rebuild Data.
  3. Follow the onscreen instruction to back up your data.
  4. Let the tool repair your file, then select OK when finished.
  5. Go back to the File menu, then click Utilities.
  6. Select Verify Data, then press Rebuild Now once QuickBooks finds an issue with your company file.

You'll need to log in to your Desktop account using the single-user mode when performing this process.

In the future, you can save your reconciliation reports as PDFs or export them to Excel after you reconcile an account. This way, you can review your past reconciliations anytime. Check out this guide to learn more: Get reports for previous reconciliations in QuickBooks Desktop.

Moreover, here’s an illuminating guide that covers basic information about reports in the program: Understand reports. It has instructions to customize and memorize them to save time.

If you have any other questions or concerns besides your reconciliation report, just add them to your reply below. We’ll be here anytime to help. Keep safe!
