Let's work together to find the missing checks in QuickBooks, @MichelleBB. I'm here to provide you with ways to locate them.
I agree with FishingForAnswers. The first step is to check the Audit Trail report. This report shows a detailed log that tracks all the changes made to transactions within your QuickBooks file.
Here's how:
- Go to Reports and select Accountant & Taxes.
- Choose Audit Trail and click Customize Report.
- Select the Filters tab.
- Type in TransactionType and choose Checks in the dropdown.
- Click OK to apply the changes.
If there's no record of deletion, we can troubleshoot your program by using the Verify and Rebuild utilities. These tools help identify and fix data integrity issues within your company file.
Additionally, you can also personalize your report in QuickBooks Desktop.
Let us know if you have other concerns with your reconciliation or checks. We're here to help you in any way we can.
