Performing the basic banking troubleshooting steps can help import your bank transactions to QuickBooks.
If you’re using a CSV file to bring in the data, let’s double-check the file format and make sure to either use a 3-column or 4-column template. Aside from this one, review the transactions to see if there are special characters added.
These symbols will cause some issues when transferring the data. If you find some, remove them and then try importing the transactions.
For tips on how to successfully import bank entries, check out the Import bank transactions using Excel CSV files article.
If you mean by your bank not automatically downloading the data, let’s perform a manual update to re-establish the online banking connection.
Next, check if the Blue Tile increases for your bank. If nothing new downloaded, the issue could be on the bank’s website.
To fix the issue, I suggest following the recommended steps in theWhat to do if bank transactions won’t download or there's a bank error article. Then, proceed directly to Step 2.

Do you have statements in PDF format or else?
I understand you want to upload a bank statement from your bank, MRBsat. Don't worry. I can show you the best way to pull up your banking transactions to your QuickBooks Online account.
Through manual upload transactions, we can import older transactions. We usually download this file from your bank. In this case, you need to contact your bank to ask for your last year's bank statement and upload it via CSV file. Please also ensure to follow the correct format.
Furthermore, you can import a maximum of 350 KB file size. You can download it in smaller sets if you want to import more than that.
Follow the steps below:
After uploading them, you can review the uploaded files and categorize them. Refer to this page for your guide: Categorize online bank transactions.
Once done, reconcile them to help your book balance and track accurately. You may visit this article: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
By following these steps, you can start an existing bank account in QuickBooks with an accurate beginning balance for the current year and manually enter transactions as needed. If you encounter any issues or need further assistance, we are here to back you up. Take care.
