Quickbooks migration team tried to help migrate from my desktop to online, but some of the transactions are missing Payee, making them useless. Any ideas?

I understand this isn't an easy process, Carl. I'll share some information on why some data are missing after migrating to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

After switching from the QuickBooks Desktop to the online versions, you may notice differences and missing data. Some data don't move to QBO completely like the payee fields. To learn more about it, check out this link: Learn how features and data move from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.

For now, I suggest entering the payee for each transaction manually. This way, you can return to business with all the data you want to reflect from your account. Here's how:

1. Open your QBO account.
2. Go to the Transactions tab on the left navigation bar, then Chart of accounts.
3. Locate the account for the missing payee transactions and click View Register.
   
   
   
   
4. From there, you can filter the transaction type you want to modify by clicking the Filter icon. Then, click Apply.
   
   
   
   
5. Once done, locate the specific transaction and click on it to enter the Payee in the field.
   
   
   
6. Save once done.
