I just did some kind of "update" for QB Mac desktop and now I cannot download transactions from my banking institution as I did previously. I tried to relink the bank, but I get the response that this is already linked to my QB, but I still cannot download anything. Can anyone advise what I can try next?
Which QB Desktop year version and MacOS do you run?
I am not sure how to find that information for you- This is my work computer and I don't know what my boss has (& I am new to this job). How can I find out for you?
ok- I just looked up this information: I am using macOS Monterey version 12.4
and when I click on QB is says QB 2023 (but I just did an update so I don't know if that influenced it or not)
Open your company file and hit Command + 1 keys
QuickBooks Mac Plus 2023, R6.1
Do you only have one bank account or more? Maybe there is a connection problem.
there are several accounts from the same bank. When I tried to "relink" the bank, it said it was already linked.

Ok- I would go to the download transactions option of banking and then press on "download all" and that would link to M & T bank and download all transactions that would occur since the last time I pressed this option. Now, after I did the "update" recommended by QB, I get the following response:
Unable to get your statement.
We could not connect to your financial institution to retreive a statement. Please try again later and contact your financial institution if this problem persists.
I was able to download all transactions before I did the recommended update by QB. I tried to "relink" M&T bank, but it states this is already linked to QB. I am not sure what to do now
Thanks for your reply, @Fizx.
I appreciate the additional details you've provided to help us get on the same page.
