Support Help

If anyone from the quickbooks team is available to address this!

I am incredibly disappointed in Support. I called with an issue Friday 6/30 where Quickbooks was withholding three payments made to Helios Design Group by clients since 6/23. I said that it was an emergency that those funds be deposited in our account because we have payroll Monday 7/3. I was promised a call back by a supervisor the same day. No one ever called. I now need to write an email to our employees that their paychecks will be delayed. The case number is [removed]. If anyone out there can address this over the weekend would be greatly appreciated.

I know it wasn’t ideal, @heliosdg. Let me impart why withheld payments take longer to process.

When funds are on hold, we ask for more data to complete our review. Then, we'll release your funds within 1–2 business days if you give us enough information. Have all the necessary documents been provided?

Please know that our Payment Risk Management team is obligated to protect the interests of all parties involved in the process. Thus, it takes a bit longer to finish checking the payment. Required documents are needed to track and complete the assessment.

Since the 3 payments have been withheld since June 23, you may consider contacting our support once more for follow-up and review the status of the transactions for you.

Any account-related concerns like payments are handled by our Payments Support team itself as it requires personal information, which can't be done here in the Community for security reasons.

You can follow the steps below to connect with us:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Help (?) menu.
  3. Select the Search tab, then click Contact Us.
  4. You can enter “Deposit hold” in the field.
  5. Tap Continue.
  6. Click the Chat or Callback option.

@MadelynC I was told that there was no reason the deposits were being withheld. Is there a phone number I can call on the weekend to address the support ticket. All the ones I can find through software are business hours on the weekdays.

Please know that our QuickBooks Payment support is only available Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM PT due to staff limitations. With this, you are unable to call them on the weekends. You can browse this article to learn more about the different types of support we offer at Intuit and its availability: Support hours and types.

Lastly, refer to this article if you need steps to check when customer payments deposit into your bank account: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.
