US Bank SinglePoint

Hi @EstherW, our bank (Union Bank) just got acquired by US Bank.  Still trying to navigate SinglePoint.

However, I just found how to link to QBO.

In the "link bank", instead of searching for "U.S. Bank" search for "SinglePoint".

The result will be "SinglePoint (U.S. Bank Commercial Internet Banking)"

That's the one you need and your login credentials should work.

US Bank SinglePoint

Our situation is the same as the Union Bank just got acquired by US Bank.

But we need more than just "Web Connect" that generally means just downloading transactions from the bank/institution.

We called the US Bank SinglePoint Support [removed by moderator].  We are asking in particular if SinglePoint supports "QuickBooks Direct Connect", the answer is "No".  That means that that we can not use inside QuickBooks' bill pay(s) and upload the bill pay(s) to SinglePoint to have US Bank produce the payment checks and mail/electronically transfer them.

So we are thinking to remove SinglePoint service, instead switch to US Bank's regular online banking/bill pay without ACH that we seldom use.  US Bank's regular online banking/pill pay supports QB "Direct Connect" and the US Bank Online Banking Support, [removed by moderator],  will issue us login credentials to put into QuickBooks for "Direct Connect" so the QB's bill pay can be uploaded directly to bank.

We are using QB Desktop Pro.

US Bank SinglePoint

Unfortunately, the company I work for uses a lot of ACH and cannot move from Sigle Point.

I was able to upload Single Point to QBO, but the bank descriptions on the main screen are useless, cause most of them have the same description.

This transition from Union Bank to Single Point has been very painful. I just was able to see the current day and run reports from all my accounts. I cannot do bill pay, or wire transfers to oversees suppliers. It is horrible for the business.

The company is considering moving to another bank with the capabilities that we need.

US Bank SinglePoint

Thank you, Kyle.

I was able to link QBO to Single Point, but it is very difficult to create rules, and the full descriptions from the bank are not downloaded.

I need to spend more time and try to do it manually, now that I'm able to download reports from the bank.

This bank transition has been a nightmare!
