Where is my money?

We understand the urgency of this matter, hamvas. We're here to help you sort things out and share insights about when QuickBooks deposits customer payments into your bank account.

If you're using QuickBooks Payments to take credit, debit, PayPal, Venmo, or ACH bank transfer payments in QuickBooks. Please know that deposit times vary depending on the product and payment method. Except for Sundays, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, standard deposits are processed every day of the week. Instant deposits are processed every day without exemptions.

Additionally, if you process customer payments before 3 PM PT, you get the funds in the next business day. However, if you process payments after 3 PM PT, you'll get the deposit in two business days.

If you're brand new to QuickBooks Payments, your ACH payments will take longer during your first month. You'll get your payments within five days for the first 1 to 4 weeks while we set everything up, and you'll get an email to let you know your payments will processed at a standard speed. See this article for more details: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

Furthermore, if you have any other concerns regarding your deposit, you can contact our Merchant Support Team so they can explain further. You can check this article for guidance: Contact Payments or Point of Sale Support.

We'll be including these links to learn more about managing payments and funds on hold:

Please let me know in the comment section if you need it. We'll be around to help you. Keep safe, hamvas!

Where is my money?

Why is my money still not available? It’s been 5 days since a customer paid via bank transfer using the invoice sent to them thru Quickbooks. This is ridiculous. I’m ab to cancel Quickbooks. First Venmo now this.

Where is my money?

I appreciate you joining the thread, @Poolgirl51.

I understand that receiving the payment on time is very important to everyone. I'll be glad to share additional details about the payments that are still not available.

In QuickBooks, customer payments may be placed on hold when there are pending details in a merchant's account, transactions, or customers that require clarification before funds are released. This measure is taken to ensure that everything is in order and running smoothly. If a payment is ever on hold, we'll let you know. You'll get an email at the email address you used to sign in to the Merchant Service Center.

Since it's already been five days and the funds are still unavailable, you'll want to get in touch with our Merchant Support Team to get this sorted out in a secure space. To reach them, click the Chat with Us link or get the phone number in this article: Contact Payments or Point of Sale Support. Then, go to the QuickBooks Payments section.

I've also included these helpful references when receiving online payments from your customers:
