Join nowI have the steps you can perform to download the missing bank transactions since the 18th, @nathancleer.
QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) depends on the financial data shared by your bank. It could be they're performing system maintenance. That's why there are no downloaded transactions since April 18th.
To help isolate this issue, I'd suggest logging into your QBSE account via a web browser. This way, we can determine if this is an app-related issue or not. It's because the program is still displaying the bank's correct balance.
Once signed in, go to the Transactions menu to check the missing transactions. If you aren't able to see them, let's click the Refresh all button. It helps refresh the connection between the bank and the program. I'll guide you how.
The screenshot below shows you the steps.
However, if you're able to view the transactions on the web, the stored app data may be full. Let's clear them so the app will function efficiently. If you're using iOS, here are the steps below:
For Android, just go to More Options (Three Horizontal Lines) and select Settings. Then, choose Refresh Data and click Yes.
Once resolved, let's go back to the Transactions tab. From there, you can edit and categorize the transactions as Business or Personal. It helps you ensure your financial records are correct. To learn more about this process, visit this article: Categorizing Transactions.
Also, I want to make sure I've got your back. Can I ask the name of the bank you're trying to download the transactions in the QBSE app? This way, I can check here on my end if there's an ongoing investigation about this and how to fix it. Please click the Reply button below to add some details.
I'm just a post away if you need further assistance. Keep safe always. Stay healthy, @nathancleer.
I tried refreshing all for the bank accounts. Didnt change anything.
I also tried "refresh data"
But there is no option for that where described.
I am on android.
Thanks
The bank is CEFCU
Thanks for the information additional details, nathancleer.
Just like RaymondJayO said, the imported data or bank transactions depends on your bank. There's a possibility that they have a website maintenance. Hence, the bank transactions are not downloaded to your QBSE account.
I'd recommend contacting your bank's support about this. Once their website maintenance is done, we can do the troubleshooting steps provided by RaymondJayO again.
If the same thing happens, it'd be best to contact our Customer Care Team. They can further review this issue and provide additional steps to get this working.
