Why won't my debit transactions reflect on my Quickbook acount?

Downloading your debit transactions is my priority, @luisouida.

 

I'm here to share some information on how QuickBooks handles your transactions. 

 

There are several possible reasons why your debit transactions were not displayed in QuickBooks. First, can I ask for the name of the bank you're using? This will help me check for any reported issues or investigations that may have caused this concern.

 

In the meantime, here are some factors that you'll need to consider when downloading bank transactions:

  • Some banks and credit card companies don't post transactions for download until later in the day or the next morning.
  • Some banks will show a transaction on their website but won't download the transaction until it posts.
  • If the missing transactions are the most recent ones, wait at least 24 hours in case your bank doesn't make them available immediately.

To resolve this, let's try manually updating your connected bank account to trigger updates on it. Here's how: 

  1. Go to the Banking or Transactions menu.
  2. Choose the Banking tab.
  3. Locate the bank account where the transactions are missing.
  4. Click Update.
  5. Select Update Now.
  6. If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials.
  7. Click Continue Update.

Once completed, you can now start reviewing and categorizing your downloaded debit transactions. However, if the transactions are still not downloaded, you'd want to download it directly from your bank's website in a file that QBO supports, like a CSV file. Once completed, you can import it.
